Terms of Purchase - Live Workshop
By completing your purchase of the Podcasting 101: Start Your Show workshop (the "Workshop"), you ("Participant") agree to these Terms of Purchase with the provider ("Company"). These terms apply to an in-person educational event held in California, USA.
1) Access & Attendance
Your purchase grants one individual seat to the live, in-person Workshop on the specified date and location. Seats are non-transferable unless approved in writing by Company. Unauthorized transfers, resales, or sharing of access are not permitted.
2) License & Use of Materials
The Workshop may include handouts, worksheets, or other resources ("Materials"). Company grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Materials for your own educational purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publicly share, or create derivative works from the Materials. All rights remain with Company.
3) No Replay Provided
This is a live event only. No video replay, audio recording, or digital version of the Workshop will be provided.
Recording the Workshop-audio, video, screen capture, or otherwise-is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by Company.
4) Payment; All Sales Final
This is a one-time, non-refundable purchase. All sales are final. No cancellations, refunds, or credits will be issued for any reason, including scheduling conflicts or inability to attend.
5) Event Changes
Company reserves the right to modify the Workshop date, time, or location if necessary (e.g., due to illness, venue issues, or circumstances beyond Company's control). In the event of a reschedule, Participants will receive notice and their seat will automatically transfer to the new date.
If the Workshop is canceled entirely by Company, Participants will receive a full refund.
6) Intellectual Property
All content shared during the Workshop-including teachings, materials, slides, examples, and frameworks-is proprietary to Company and/or its licensors. Unauthorized duplication or sharing of the Materials or Workshop content may result in removal from the event and other legal remedies.
7) Disclaimers; No Guarantees
The Workshop provides educational and informational guidance only. Company makes no guarantees of results, performance, income, audience growth, or success. Participant understands results vary and that they are solely responsible for their implementation.
8) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Company's total liability for any claims related to the Workshop is limited to the amount paid for the ticket.
9) Participant Conduct
Company may remove any Participant who is disruptive, abusive, or violates these Terms. No refunds will be issued for removal due to misconduct.
10) Photography & Media
The Workshop may be photographed or recorded by Company for promotional or archival purposes. By attending, Participant grants Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their likeness in such media. If you prefer not to appear, please notify Company in writing at least 48 hours before the Workshop.
11) Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by California law. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
12) Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remainder will continue in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement governing this purchase. Updates may occur periodically; the version in effect at the time of purchase applies to your transaction.
